Microsoft takes new approach at Hackers
Posted 4 months, 3 weeks ago by TinyChinaDoll

With new 'Achievements' and Gamerscore on XBL, Microsoft has decided to change the way it combats gamercard hackers. Instead of freezing the account and forcing the buyer to purchase a new XBL account, Microsoft has gone about labeling hackers as... well, just as they are.

While personally I can't see why hacking your gamerscore and achievements would be so popular, I also don't see why Microsoft doesn't just take the high road and just FIX the problem instead of passing off this 'cheater' label patch.  Fortunately, you can't buy anything with the points; it's the equivalent of hacking into a high score list and making your crappy score not-as-crappy; just not enough personal glory to make it worth the trouble.

Cheater's justice... I think that people that get this treatment are getting off light.

Some say it's bragging rights that push people to cheat. I've even heard of people paying money for someone else to get them achievement points....shady business....

Yeah, we talked about this last week. Even the infamous StripClubDJ got owned in this crackdown.
