  Dear Stan Lee,

I regret to inform you that I was unfortunate enough to play two titles that adorned the Marvel name this past week. We will start with Marvel Ultimate Alliance...

this game was ok at best, the graphics were done with a good amount of attention to detail, so why was the camera view set so far away from the actual fight? I enjoyed some of the missions but felt myself getting bored with the game and even sometimes frustrated, wanting to smash my controller on the floor and drive to pay a late night visit to Stan Lee and tell him how much his games suck. I think by the end of my weeks rental of this title(thank god I rented it, and didn't buy it)I was more than happy to say goodbye. There were no tears in my eyes, no look back, I actually felt better when I heard the game fall and smash at the bottom of the empty video game return slot. I hope it got scratched up so I could at least save one soul from playing this copy again. Alright lets move on to another horrible title called The Fantastic Four the rise of the silver surfer. First off there is nothing fantastic about this game, the graphics are average at best. Did I mention the incredibly stupid AI, I watched as I was fighting in one scene, guess what the AI was just standing there doing nothing, that was the start of my frustration and the fuel for this story.

In the end the game play is better in Ultimate Alliance than in the Silver Surfer. My question is Stan Lee why do you keep putting the Marvel name on boxes of crap? Don't you care about the Marvel name?  I guess in the end it's all about the money and not the quality of the product in question. I know all you marvel lovers are going to hate me, so hate away. I would like to say in my own defense that I have loved everything Marvel for a long time, I watched Spidey in the 80s.

Stan doesn't even work for Marvel anymore, hasn't for years. Blame Avi Arad, president of Marvel Licensing Inc. Besides, M:UA rocked.

Stan Lee isn't at fault, but I do believe that people shouldn't just slap their name on just anything.

Blaming Stan Lee for the quality of Marvel branded games is like blaming Ronald McDonald for a lousy cheeseburger.

blasphemy!!! Marvel Ultimate Alliance is an amazing game. I and two of my friends have played it through at least 6 times. After about the third time through, our characters got too powerful and made the game too easy, but the first couple times around were challenging and aesthetically pleasing. There are like 30 different playable characters, all with different abilities available to upgrade. I think any comic book fan would agree that this is one of the best game of its type out there today. As far as the Fantastic Four game goes, never played it but movie adaption games tend to suck.
