As we all know, Spore has a hard release date of Shmeptober 276, 20Never. For those who can’t wait that long for any sort of Darwinian fix, we humbly present Spore for the iPhone, courtesy of YouTube, and their fancy new hi-res videos. The clip is from Apple’s SDK presentation yesterday, and shows the game being controlled with a combination of the iPhone’s accelerometer and touch screen. Comparisons to FlOw and Insaniquarium are sure to follow soon, but the skeleton of something cool is evident here. Almost as if it needs to evolve into a fully cool game (see what I did there?)
