- Echochrome Demo Available For PSP
- Posted 9 months ago by Veggie Jackson
For those of you who are dying to play the Escher-inspired puzzle game, Echochrome, but are frustrated by the lack of a solid release date, good news arrived today. A three-level demo of the oddly addicting puzzler was made available for download to your PSP. The PS3/PSP title is as weird and counter-instinctive as it seems, tasking player with changing their perspective of the simply-rendered game board in order to change its orientation for your avatar. If you haven’t seen video of the game in action, it’s kind of hard to explain how it works, so check this out first:
The demo is free, and includes a tutorial and three full levels. Playing on the PSP, it becomes clear that handheld is the way to go with a game like this, and, as cool as it is, I have to wonder if it will sell as a full-priced retail game for the PS3. Sadly, the whole thing is in Japanese, but that shouldn’t dissuade you from playing one of the year’s most interesting and unique demos.

I can't wait to give this game the once over....
Where do you get the demo from? I was just in the PS store and the only new thing for the PSP was flow, which I got of course.
Is there any way possible for anyone that's already downloaded it to upload it into a zip file? I can't seem to find it on the Japanese site. If you can do it please email me. Check out my profile for the address.
game developers: we as gamers dont need a game that looks amazing (though it is nice sometimes), we dont need new or interesting features in a game, we just want good fun gameplay. this is a game i want to play.
This game looks so interesting
BOOO I don't own a PSP, yet.
I just downloaded this. It is so cool. I cannot wait for a full version, although I hope it comes with literally hundreds of puzzles...
