Visitors of the Japanese Wii Virtual Console webpage may notice something interesting. In addition to the six existing consoles featured on the VC, there are two empty spots that seem to be placeholders for future consoles. Nintendo has already confirmed that the MSX will be made available in 2008, so the question becomes: What is that other spot for?

Consensus around the GV office is that Game Boy games will be made available, but I’m never satisfied with the boring, logical answer, and since the MSX is coming, maybe Nintendo isn’t either. My vote is for the Sega Saturn, but that’s just me. Anyone have a better guess as to what retro games we’ll be enjoying soon?
