- Niko Heading To San Andreas?
- Posted 3 days ago by Veggie Jackson
RockstarSocialClub.com, the stat-tracking site devoted to GTA IV and future Rockstar releases, launched about 3 weeks ago, and while we expected it to keep track of our kills, car jackings and financial situations, we didn’t expect it to start crazy rumors about sequels and DLC. Players who have completed the game’s main story are given access to the Story Club section of the site. Sifting through the details of the Story Club section, users can find this little gem:
That is, in fact, a plane ticket for Mr. Niko Bellic, from Liberty City to San Andreas. Does this mean that Niko will be taking the franchise back to its version of California? What happened to the rumors of Vice City being the next city in the series? I guess that’s why they call it a rumor.
Of course, this certainly doesn’t mean that Niko will definitely be seeing the sights of Las Venturas, San Fierro and Los Santos. No one knows if this has to do with a possible sequel, downloadable content, or if it’s just a picture signifying nothing. No date on the ticket, so no help there, either.
What do you think it means? Would you like to see the series go back to the left coast, return to the neon love of Vice City, stay in LC, or even go to a completely new locale? You’ll be the ones giving Rockstar their next $500 million, so make your voice heard.

I've always thought that GTA leaving the contiguous United States would be a pretty sweet idea. London, Beijing, and Rio de Janeiro being very interesting locales for criminal activity.
What's the matter Rockstar? Afraid to leave the hemisphere?
That would be nice seeing old environments reintroduced through DLC....(......... ) insert excitement there.....
