- RUMOR: Sony signs Media Molecule to 3 game deal

Well chalk this one up to rumor right now though i would not be surprised in the least if it is true. I had expected and hoped Sony would do this as i think the group at Media Molecule has done a great job with LittleBigPlanet and I eagerly look forward to what games they might try after this so if true, good move Sony. Make no mistake the game might not be flying off the shelves but i think give it time and that will change and lack of sales cannot take away the fact that this is truly a great and imaginative game.

Here's a little known fact: Despite producing one of Sony's most hyped titles of the year, LittleBigPlanet, Media Molecule actually has no affiliation with them outside of that. The ex-Lionhead ragtag group of developers is a third party studio and could make titles for any system.
However, rumors are pouring in that Sony, enjoying the commercial and critical reception of MM's LittleBigPlanet, has just offered them an exclusive 3 game contract and the guys over at Media Molecule have graciously accepted. Though its too early to expect to see anything substantial from them any time soon, expect some sort of announcement over the course of 2009.

Will rumors never cease?
i dont mind delays as long as they are done to fine tune a product or they are done to finish adding features. I didnt mind the first LBP delay but the problem was that even with the delay it still shipped missing features.
Let the delays begin!
The guys from Media Molecule are probably doing the jig on a table somewhere right about now.....Hopefully the next two won't be plagued by the same delays the first one had....congrats Media Molecule.......
