Well here is what they are nominating. What do yall agree with, disagree with? Personally i see some joke nominees like Wii Fit for best individual sports game, while no mention of NHL 09 on the list but there is shaun white snowboarding which has yet to release and LBP on best graphics which i dont think is correct.. Also no Valkyria Chronicles, Disgaea 3 or Tales of Vesperia on that list, what an absolute rob job. Also Tomb Raider is on there which i believe has not been released yet. Anyway list below, discuss..

i dont think it is fair to discredit the graphics of LBP. True, they are not of the same style of the other games nominated in that category, but take a sec to appreciate how detailed and vibrant the graphics, in fact are in LBP. I think for going for the art style LBP has, the graphics far exceed exceptional...
on nominees: not too surprised there that the nitch games are nowhere to be found... i mean look at who is hosting the awards... i'm honestly surprised that madden isn't nominated for EVERYTHING... at least it is a step in the right direction.
Best Music game: Wii Music.....LOL Voyou.....now you gotta find me......
@ Sean, i was looking at the individual sports game which i still think you could put NHL in when i made the post, didnt notice until after about the team sports category :)
@ Q, are you serious??? GotY is Gears of War 2?? every game on that list is more deserving i think than gears 2 with the exception of GTA IV

Also, check again, NHL '09 is nominated.
The problem here is that you expect Spike TV to run a decent Video Game Awards show... This is an awards show that has included a category called "Cyber Vixen of the Year". Lame. I don't think in my entire life of playing games that I've come across a P[ixel].I.L.F. The fact that they're drooling over (and giving an award to) a fake lady makes me discredit this show and its "awards".
