In the above photo, you see Mr. Red Baron the XIII (or Red when I'm feeling less hyper). He beat Final Fantasy XII for me. (It's that easy.)
Anywho...
Apparantly 10 Gamerpoints is all you get because this is a common Achievement...

Please read Terry Prachett's Discworld books. Discworld makes our world seem sane..by comparison. Funny, funny stuff.
Yep, I haven't played through this yet. I'm getting myself to finish this game so that I can prepare myself for MGS4.
I hate trying to find all those damn Kerotans.
I love fishing with grenades!
A very underrated game. Once I got used to the odd gameplay style, Sneaking Strategy RPG Collectible Card Game, it proved to be quite fun. It's quite satisfying to build up my collection of cards, creating my own solid deck and plow over challenges thrown at me.
Finally, I can actually hit what I shoot at!
I passed up the other iterations of this game due to its horrible tank-like control scheme and its half-assed aiming system. If I am to viewpoint-aim, please let me move my character at the same time...but then I guess that would make the game less difficult, and therefore, less scary?
Now, with the Wii controls, the game changes a bit. It's now partially a light-gun game when you stop and aim your weapon. Unfortunately the rifle does not use the Wiimote aiming that the rest of the guns do.
It's quite satisfying to take down villagers and cultists. The enemies aren't that difficult on their own, and they don't sport the brightest of AI in their parasitic brains. They basically just come towards you however they can.
I'm having fun plowing through, popping off heads with speeding lead. I still wish I could move less like a robot though...
I was skeptical of the new control scheme before I purchased the game, but upon playing with it, my fears were alleviated. While it did have a period of awkwardness while adjusting to the new controls, it soon became second nature. Now I'm easily targeting and blasting down enemies wherever I may roam. I recommend that you set the sensitivity up to Advanced. It lets you turn faster. Also, set it so that you can aim independently of what you lock on to. Makes it easier and more fun to fight bosses.
I really enjoy collecting the tokens, which can be used to purchase extras, such as artwork, musical scores, and other bonus goodies. There are four different colors of tokens: Red, Blue, Yellow, and Green. They are earned in various ways throughout the game, such as by scanning certain things, defeating bosses, and other challenges. The green tokens, however, come to you by way of friend vouchers. Like the tokens, you earn friend vouchers within the game, such as by killing enemies in multiples of 100. Then you must send these vouchers to friends via WiiConnect24, and they may convert those vouchers into green tokens. So for you to be able to get a green token, you must receive friend vouchers from another person. It's a little convoluted, but it's kind of nice seeing friend vouchers show up when I load my save file.
While I will first say that this game is overrated, it in no way sucks. Bioshock was a pleasing experience from beginning to end, even if it isn't what all the hype made it out to be. I recieved the good ending, I anticipate playing it through again on Hard Mode to chase down achievements.
God I love strategy-rpgs and Nippon Ichi! GIMME MOOOORE!!! I've been going through the item worlds alot, and picking up felonies, which are like badges of honor that give you bonuses in this game. Love love LOVE this game!
Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix - Xbox 360 Arcade
You know, I think the name could be a bit longer. How about: Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix Xbox Live Arcade Edition With Extra Cheese Hold The Mayo And Pickles On The Side.
It is to be noted that I suck horribly at this game, but I still find it fun to play.
I liked alot of the elements of XI, but it played WAY too slowly, and was too difficult. Pretty game with pretty music and some neat gameplay choices. If there were to be a sequel, I would base it around Ivalice from FFT and FFXII. I friggin' want to be a Moogle with a gun. Make it happen Square-Enix!
One of the greats from my childhood. A couple of "sequals" were made but never measured up to the awesomeness that was the original. I was thinking of getting some people together to make a Source mod based on this game...
that was awsome, i wish i knew about it, i'd like to send requests. I loved mario RPG so much, i'd like to have seen some of those characters in there.I hope theres a slew of characters this time around.
Thanks, nice to meet another fan of the pillows. I wouldn't know about them if it hadn't been for Fooly Cooly. That show was crazy! The comic was even better.
I love that video of the kid getting launched by the breakdancer. Though I do hope she's not suffering any permanent dibilitating conditions. That would really make me feel sad. There is a conflict inside of me.

You gotta respect Greedo. No one's had the balls, or whatever he's got downtown, to stand up to Han like that. Well except Boba Fett... and Darth Vader... and Jabba... okay, well maybe other people stood up to Han. But none had so many sparks fly off them when they die! Neither did anyone talk out of a snout!
Chan and I got to meet the guys who made Saul, they were totally mean to us. We were trying to engage them in conversation cause they went to Temple, too... but they were too full of themselves to be interested.
I'm sure they would have wanted to be remembered as jackasses.
Yah, Lost Planet does look nice, but the multiplayer is ass. Singleplayer can be fun, but I still hate the whole slowness of movement and the "knockdown" mechanic. Oh, and the explosions, while looking cool, gets in the way of seeing ANYTHING. Some of the AI mechs constantly fire rockets, even if you're behind several walls, so all you see is visual distortions, bright lights and then lingering smoke. Hard to fight against stuff you can't see.
Yeah, Paper Mario is annoying me now as well. I agree with the too much text part, and yeah it isn't as funny. And the whole 2nd chapter was REALLY annoying. The one where you have to hit a block 100 times, and then run in a wheel for like 10 minutes straight, doing nothing else. Yeah, great gameplay design there Nintendo.
I was hating Lost Planet too, until I picked up an HDTV and saw how amazing the game looks. I just accepted the fact that the point of the whole thing is to blow lots of stuff up. That's it. Cool looking bugs and awesome mechs. But I may be wrong.
Now something I really can't get into is Super Paper Mario. To much text that isn't really funny. Switching from 2d to 3d is cool, but it gets kind of gimmicky.

hey man great vid!
Your kitty is da dorable. I hope you know that.
I completely agree with your assessment of Super Paper Mario... I'm playing it, screaming at my set, "LET'S GO! SHUTUP AND GET ON WITH IT ALREADY!!!!"
My Wii is gathering dust too. Although I think Resident Evil 4 might knock some of it off.

i've definitely heard of both of those, but i question my stomach's stamina to handle the audition.

12 oz. Mouse is more entertaining than a 9 gal. turtle.
You know, I think I'm losing my mind, because the story in 12 oz. Mouse is starting to make sense to me.
