Four players can take turns on the game's single lane in 10 Pin Bowling with four score cards tracking individual frame counts and a running tally of the overall score. Position bowlers at any point along the foul line, determine the distance between the bowler and the line, opt to take the shot either left or right handed and set the angle of the shot to straight, slightly left or right, or hard left or right. Knock down all ten pins in one shot (roll) and it's a "strike," earning ten points and the pin totals of the next two shots. If you need two rolls to knock down all ten pins, the scoring term is "spare" - earning ten points plus the result of the next single roll. If you don't bowl over ten pins with two rolls, the frame is "open," adding only the pins knocked down in that frame to the score. ~ Kyle Knight, All Game Guide
