Do you have what it takes to win in the intense and competitive world of professional boxing? Are you tough enough? Do you have the skills? Do you have a glass jaw? Put on your gloves, step into the ring and find the answers to these questions in 10...Knock Out!, a 2D side view boxing game for the Commodore 64.

You enter your name and select from several boxer graphics and then fight against a series of computer controlled boxers. In order, ranked from level 1-8, are Earnie Shavers, John Sullivan, Joe Louis, Joe Frazier, Leon Spinks, Larry Holmes, Rocky Marciano and Muhammad Ali. During gameplay, there is no difference in skills between the boxers.

During a match, boxers perform a variety of moves that include advancing towards the enemy or backing away. As the game is played in 2D, however, they can't move into or out of the screen. The boxers can also punch at their opponents' face or body and can block high or low to defend against opponent punches to the head or body.

You score one point for each punch that strikes your opponent by getting past his blocking attempts. When one boxer gains enough of an edge in points over his opponent, the opponent is knocked out and the match ends. If you lose to the computer-controlled boxer, the game ends and you must begin with the first boxer again. ~ Kyle Knight, All Game Guide
