180 is a 2D darts video game from Mastertronic Added Dimension for the Commodore 64. One player can take on a series of computer opponents or two human opponents can compete against each other. In either case, players take turns throwing darts with each turn consisting of three throws. Each player begins with 501 points with the object of the game to be the first player to reduce the count to zero.
You view the dartboard from a first person perspective with a floating hand holding a dart indicating where the dart is currently being aimed. As the throw attempt begins, the hand floats away from the bulls-eye. By pressing the joystick in various directions, you alter the path of the hand holding the dart. When it's over the part of the board at which you want to aim, you press a button to release the dart.
The round dartboard is divided into 20 pie-shaped slices, numbered from 1 to 20. A dart landing on one of these slices is worth its number value adjusted by which portion of the slice the dart lands on -- there are several concentric rings on the board, as well as the bulls-eye, that are worth progressively more points. After three shots each turn, your score from that round is totaled and then subtracted from the overall beginning score of 501. ~ Kyle Knight, All Game Guide
