Three of the best-selling pinball series available for the PC or Macintosh are now available in one package in Sierra's 3D Ultra Pinball Power. Choose from 3D Ultra Pinball, 3D Ultra Pinball: Creep Night or 3D Ultra Pinball: The Lost Continent. As a bonus, the puzzle game The Incredible Machine and the demo for 3D Ultra Mini Golf are included on a fourth CD-ROM.
Start with the original, 3D Ultra Pinball. The goal is to build a deep space colony and launch a starship. You accomplish this by playing on three main tables: the Colony, the Operations Center and the Mine Table. You can warp between tables as you complete your challenges and get ready to launch your ship from the Command Post table. Watch out for hidden levels! You can play by yourself or compete in a tournament against three friends.
In 3D Ultra Pinball: Creep Night, you have three tables to choose from: the Village, the Cemetery and the Castle. Once you complete your challenges on all three, you can return to the Castle to drive out the evil that has overtaken it. Every table contains secret passageways and there's a bonus one with the Goblin King for you to attempt, if you dare.
Finally, 3D Ultra Pinball: The Lost Continent sends you off to a place that time forgot. Three survivors from a plane crash--Rex Hunter, Professor Spector and Mary--must traverse the dangers of fifteen different tables if they want to make it out of this Jurassic nightmare. The characters will give you verbal clues you'll need to successfully hit the correct sequence of targets to progress to the next level. Your ultimate goal is to rescue Mary and innocent native Neeka from the clutches of Heckla, who plans to convert the local populace into dinosaur warriors who will help him rule the world.
The Incredible Machine is filled with over 150 brain-teasing puzzles which you can play solo or against a friend. A tutorial is provided that will walk you through puzzle-solving basics and there's a workshop in which you can build your own stumpers.
The 3D Ultra Mini Golf demo contains three holes of miniature golf playable in normal, hole-by-hole or race mode. It's only available for Windows 95 users. ~ Brad Cook, All Game Guide
