The third title in Namco Bandai's series of mini-game collections designed to get gamers off their couches, Active Life: Explorer sends players on treasure-hunting adventures around the world. As many as eight gamers can hack through dense jungles, run along the rooftop of a speeding train, scour ancient ruins, skid across icy paths, and escape lava-filled caves in a narrative-driven action-adventure designed to burn calories. The "Party" mode lets up to eight players join in on a series of activities by motioning with their Wii Remotes and running on the "Active Life" dance mat. Four players can take on the "Treasure Adventure" mode, which offers dozens of missions around an overworld map, while the "Free Play" mode lets gamers try any of the individual activities, and the "Treasure Trials" mode is an objective-driven campaign in which players compete to unlock new in-game outfits, earn medals, and rack up high scores. ~ Christopher Brown, All Game Guide
