After having starred in a couple of action titles teeming with international intrigue, double agent fish James Pond wants to have a little fun. The Aquatic Games starring James Pond and the Aquabats, an Olympics-type contest with a decidedly unusual schedule of events, is his diversion of choice.
The Aquatic Games is composed of eight competitive events plus two bonus events. The 100-meter Splash has you racing across a one hundred meters wide body of water. In the Kipper Watching event you must run and jump at any angle to deflect beach balls away from Ceceelia, your seal friend. At the Bouncy Castle you must perform a variety of jumps and somersaults on a sponge trampoline. When it's Feeding Time your job is to divert your fish friends from a group of fishermen by loading up a bag of sweets and dropping the sweets into the little swimmers' mouths. In the Shell Shooting Event you must pick up limpets (shells) and throw them at balloons that are hanging from the ceiling. The Tour de Grass is a unicycling event featuring a circus-shark. Leap Frog is similar to running the hurdles, but in this game you control a frog instead of a human.
To participate in the bonus rounds, you must earn enough bonus points in the regular events. The first bonus event features P.J. Penguin, an expert juggler. The second bonus event is another game of Leap Frog. ~ Brett Alan Weiss, All Game Guide
