Most likely originating in ancient Egypt, Awele is one of the world's oldest board games. It involves two opposing players each attempting to capture the most "seeds." The game is played on a board with six "holes" and players "sow" their seeds in these holes according to a set of basic rules. Awele is purely a game of wit and skill, with no chance factor. This PDA version of the game has been designed for easy play, with special "target indicator" cursors to help plan moves effectively. The game board graphics feature an African art theme. ~ T.J.
