Based on the 1985 film starring Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd, Back to the Future on NES has you guiding young Marty McFly as he frantically attempts to correct the mistakes made while time-traveling to the 1950s. The main aspect of play involves traveling to four destinations in Hill Valley: the cafe, school, dance hall, and courthouse. Marty will walk or ride his makeshift skateboard across vertically scrolling streets filled with an assortment of hazards and enemies. A family photo at the bottom of the screen acts as a countdown timer, but time can be replenished by collecting clocks scattered across the area. Once Marty safely arrives at a locale, you will then participate in a location-specific mini-game. Successfully complete the mini-game to unlock the next destination in Marty's quest to reunite his future parents and return to the present. ~ Scott Alan Marriott, All Game Guide
