Bad News Baseball is Tecmo's second baseball outing on the NES, and features solid, fast-moving action geared for kids. Comedic touches like bunny umpires and stars that appear over players' heads when they get hit by a ball, are interspersed with nicely animated sequences shown after home runs and during close plays. The box advertises the ability to use girls' teams, but this can only be accomplished through a code described in the manual (press the reset button while holding lower left on the first controller and up on the second). ~ Skyler Miller, All Game Guide
