Randy Daytona is a washed-up ping-pong player who is desperate to unleash his Balls of Fury upon the man who killed his father. Based on the 2007 film, players take the role of Daytona in "Story" mode as he is recruited by an FBI agent named Rodriguez to infiltrate the dark underworld of ping-pong and bring down a man named Feng. Played by Christopher Walken in the film, Feng is a dirty competitor who leaves a trail of bodies along his road to ping-pong greatness. Gamers must train Daytona with the help of several characters from the movie including Master Wong and his niece Maggie. When Daytona completes his training, he is transported to Feng's jungle compound where his skills are tested in a tournament against such competitors as Karl Wolfschtagg. In "Arcade" competition players can choose from ten different characters, and play through several challenges as they attempt to achieve high scores and legendary ping-pong status. ~ Christopher Brown, All Game Guide
