This flight sim-cum-strategy war game is set in the southern England of 1940, where players can take command of either the British or German air forces. In the role of "supreme commander," players can control planes and fleets, organizing attacks and defensive movements to put resources on the ground and in the air to the best use. A coordinated attack that damages radar equipment can leave "holes" in the enemy's defenses, for example, and taking out a key enemy airfield can leave the opposition at a great tactical disadvantage. When they are ready to take a more hands-on approach, players can simply click the "fly" button to enter the game's combat flight sim mode, and take the role of an ace pilot in the aircraft of their choice. ~ T.J.
