Bowl on the go with Bowling for the Microvision handheld system. After selecting one or two players and fast or slow ball speed, pressing GO sets up the pins for the first frame. Pressing GO also displays the frame number and status of the current game. The ball will then start moving back and forth on the screen. The object is to press BOWL when the ball is in the best position to knock down the highest number of pins (preferably without getting a split). If at least one pin is remaining, the ball can be rolled one more time for that frame.

Scoring is the same as in real bowling in that there are 10 frames and you get a strike for knocking down all 10 pins with one roll and a spare for knocking down all the pins in two rolls. For a spare, you get 10 points plus the number of pins knocked down by the next ball. For a strike, you get 10 points plus the number of pins knocked down by the next two balls. Three hundred constitutes a perfect score. Another similarity to real bowling is that you can roll a gutter ball if you are not careful. ~ Brett Alan Weiss, All Game Guide
