  • Overall

Despite choppy centipede animation and a distinct lack of trackball control, Centipede for the Intellivision is a surprisingly good port of the 1980 arcade classic. Controls are smooth, sound effects are faithful and gameplay will please fans of the original. The spiders are a little slow and the centipede segments are a bit large, making the game easier than its Atari VCS counterpart. However, the mushrooms are actually recognizable. Also, the game has a couple of welcome extra features: auto fire and a speed button. ~ Brett Alan Weiss, All Game Guide
