PlayFirst's signature character, the adorable and hardworking Flo, has been very busy. From Dash to Dash, she's made her way onto different platforms, finding love in the casual market on phones, PCs, and handheld platforms. Her most recent adventure is on the iPhone with Cooking Dash, which asks Flo to not only tend to the patrons of the diner, but to cook for them. This task makes her job significantly more difficult, but creates one of the better iterations of the franchise.
Pretty much every level begins the same way: people come into the restaurant. Wearing different colored shirts, sometimes alone, and sometimes with friends, patrons will arrive and wait to be seated. After being given a spot, they will choose their meal and wait for Flo to serve them. Potatoes, fries, chicken, and steak need to be cooked, which means Flo has to actually take the raw food cook it. Burgers and sandwiches, too, can be prepared, but Flo only needs to just ask Granny to make them, then let her do her work. Other foods, such as ice cream and orange juice, also pique patrons' interest, meaning Flo has a lot of juggling to do.
