Dark Void Zero is platform shooter designed to play, look, and sound like classic 8-bit games such as Metroid, Mega Man, and Contra. Players take on the role of Rusty, the first human born into the Void, as he uses a jetpack designed by Nikola Tesla to soar and hover through three levels, blasting as many Watchers as possible.
