At the beginning of the 24th century, Mega-Corporations rule the world by collecting vast sums of data and utilizing it to stay on top in cutthroat business ventures. You work for the Black Sun Corporation as a cybernetic enhanced Netrunner. It's your job to gather hard-to-attain information for Black Sun any way you can by cruising the virtual world of cyberspace, breaking through other corporate defenses and accessing sensitive information such as telephone records, blueprints or credit reports. It's also your responsibility to protect Black Sun's secrets and assets from invading competitive corporations. Using a Delta-V Trace weapons platform, you have the capability to both infiltrate the Intrusion Countermeasures Electronics (ICE) systems used by the Mega-Corporations for protection or take on other Netrunners head-to-head while running the GlobalNet.

Delta-V is a slightly different type of space flight simulator with a 3-D arcade action aspect. The game is mission based and accommodates joystick, mouse or keyboard modes of control. Featuring a huge selection of Trace Augmentation Systems ranging from weapons (lasers, proton torpedoes, particle cannons, gamma beams, etc.) to defense mechanisms (armor, shields, etc.) to performance enhancers (afterburners, scoops, core drives, coolants, etc.), Delta-V offers high-speed, non-stop action.
