The first persistent-world game designed for children makes its brick-and-mortar debut courtesy of Sony Online Entertainment's Platform Publishing label. Those who elect to purchase the online game's boxed version will enjoy two months of play without additional cost. Apart from the included CD, players will receive a 68-page printed manual, a color poster, and a special in-game go-kart for racing in Goofy's Speedway. After installing the game, players will be able to create a cartoon dog, cat, mouse, horse, rabbit, or duck with a choice body styles and over 100 clothing types. Then it's time to explore the irreverent world of Toontown to undertake quests, team up with friends, and save the world from the money-grubbing Cogs. The family friendly game is primarily aimed at children ages eight to twelve and carries a monthly fee of $9.99 at the time of its release. ~ Scott Alan Marriott, All Game Guide
