You direct the onscreen actions of Dirk the Daring by selecting correct directional keys at critical moments within the game. Although you indirectly control his movement, successful interactive gameplay requires split-second timing in order to make Dirk continue on his pre-ordained path.

You'll help Dirk on his quest as he travels under and through a wicked wizard's castle in an effort to rescue Princess Daphne. Seems she has been kidnapped and is being guarded by Singe the Evil Dragon. The interface in Dragon's Lair DVD-ROM consists of using directional keys to effect timed movement for your onscreen hero.
