Years after the initial announcement of the title's development in February 1999, the cigar chomping, testosterone-laden Duke Nukem is finally set make his way to 128-bit generation consoles with this highly anticipated PS2 release of Duke Nukem D-Day. Unlike many more recent first-person incarnations of the rough-and-ready Duke, this title features a third-person perspective on the popular hero as he makes his way through an all-new adventure. The title is co-published by longtime Duke Nukem supporters 3D Realms and Take Two's elite Rockstar Games division, who suggest that the hero's no-nonsense attitude is a fitting match with the company's (well-refined) counter-Establishment culture. ~ T.J.
