Test your speed and finesse in this motocross racing game for the Nintendo Entertainment System. Viewed from a side-scrolling, third-person perspective, Excitebike has you driving up ramps of varying sizes and shapes, dodging mud pits, and performing wheelies while trying to cross the finish line as quickly as possible. Move your bike up and down each track's four lanes while raising or lowering your front wheel during jumps for clean landings. A turbo button gives you a burst of speed, but rely on it too much and you'll run the risk of overheating the engine. Choose from a solo run, which pits you against the clock, or competition against computer-controlled riders.
