A downloadable game designed primarily for multiplayer action, Fat Princess puts a twist on the traditional "capture-the-flag" mechanic by substituting the flag for a rotund royal whose gluttony makes her harder and harder to rescue as the match advances. "Capture the Princess" mode pits two teams of up to 16 in head-to-head contests, where the goal is to escort their stolen princess back home safely while simultaneously feeding the opponent's princess to make her more difficult to rescue. There are eight multiplayer maps, and gamers can switch between the five character classes -- Worker, Warrior, Ranger, Mage, and Priest -- simply by changing hats. Each class has special weapons and abilities, and the hat machines can be upgraded by using resources collected by Workers. Other multiplayer modes include "Snatch 'n' Grab," "Team Deathmatch," and "Invasion," and Fat Princess also features a seven-chapter single-player campaign. ~ Christopher Brown, All Game Guide
