My Life as a King is an empire-building RPG set in Square's Final Fantasy universe, in a time and place soon after the events of the GameCube's Crystal Chronicles. Players take the role of a young king in a war-torn land. The little king is searching for signs of his deposed father when he comes upon an abandoned castle and a magic crystal. The crystal allows the king to return the land to the way it once was, by making memories real. In the role of the little king, players guide the development of the empire, by choosing which structures to restore and where to send adventurers to scout new lands and memories.
