Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones is the original Japanese SNES series' second release for North American GBAs. As in earlier editions, gameplay involves console-style role-playing and tactical, turn-based combat. The game's subtitle refers to five magic stones, which were used in ancient times to seal away the forces of evil, but came to be used as heirlooms by the five royal families that rule the game world continent of Magi Varl.
