Golf 2004 offers 18 holes of sand traps, water hazards, challenging fairways, and sloping greens. After players swing their choice of club from a picture-in-picture display of their golfer, the view shifts to an overhead perspective as the ball travels across the course. A timing-based swing meter determines each shot's power and accuracy, and players can plan their next shot by scrolling across the course to find the best approach. Options include a choice of front 9, back 9, or a full 18 holes, vibration feedback for hooks and slices, and adjustable wind effects. Players can also save their progress after each stroke and receive tips and pointers throughout the game. ~ Scott Alan Marriott, All Game Guide
