Players return to the crime-addled streets of Liberty City, with an all-new character and a fresh set of issues in Grand Theft Auto IV: The Lost and Damned. Though the expansion's title alludes to Rockstar's existentialist take on life in a modern metropolis, it also specifically refers to a motorcycle gang that played a minor role in Niko Bellic's GTAIV saga. Gangs take center stage in The Lost and Damned though, as players step into the role of Johnny Klebitz, a loyal lieutenant in The Lost Motorcycle Club. Klebitz served as a de facto leader while the crew's president Billy Grey was in rehab, but with turf wars heating up and Grey back at the helm, things begin to get complicated. The result is a brand new story designed to give players a different perspective of Liberty City, with new characters, weapons, vehicles, and multiplayer modes. Rockstar North has also updated some of the atmospheric flourishes that help define the series, including new in-game TV and radio programming, and new musical selections. ~ Christopher Brown, All Game Guide
