Combining retro graphics, simple controls, and ecosystem management, Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman! What Did I Do to Deserve This? offers PSP gamers a complex and quirky strategy title that pokes fun at traditional RPG archetypes. Players assume the role of the God of Destruction (represented by a simple pickaxe), whose only goal is to create complex dungeons filled with enough enemies to protect Overlord Badman from the parade of legendary heroes coming to capture him.
Visually, Holy Invasion of Privacy resembles a number of classic 8-bit puzzle titles, presenting gamers with a highly pixilated grid of 2D dirt squares. Not every square is created equal, however, as some blocks contain nutrients that turn into rudimentary life forms known as slimemosses. The slimemosses then transport nutrients to other squares, creating more complex and powerful forms of life.
Players only have a limited amount of time and power to create a dungeon and securely hide Overlord Badman, so the challenge comes from balancing the overall size of the dungeon with the expected behavior and evolutionary patterns of the monsters. There are a number of tutorials and short challenges designed to prepare gamers, but the "Story" mode offers no save points, leaving players with little room for error. ~ Christopher Brown, All Game Guide
