As commander of a 160-meter Dreadnought-class Corvette, you must engage a human resistance force of alleged pirates and terrorists on behalf of Earth's Commonwealth Navy. Featuring over 40 missions across three CD-ROMs, Independence War features strategic combat that involves the careful oversight of multiple ship systems. Your 8,520-ton vessel soars through 3D space while adhering to a physics-based flight model, and orders can be issued from the ship's four bridges: command, weapons, navigation, and engineering.
