A product of the independent Danish studio Playdead, Limbo is a black-and-white, side-scrolling action game in which players control a young boy who wakes up alone in the forest. There is no dialogue, and no instructions, but moderate exploration reveals a dangerous landscape in which death is around every corner. The game presents players with a number of environmental hazards, and eventually the young boy makes his way out of the woods and into a deserted industrial sector where aggressive creatures give way to intricate puzzles. ~ Christopher Brown, All Game Guide
