Originally released in 2000, Capcom's three-on-three arcade game, featuring popular characters from previous action, shooting, and fighting titles, comes to the PlayStation Network with online play and a host of new features in Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes. Gamers can choose from 56 playable characters, with each combatant offering a variety of aerial maneuvers, special attacks, and projectile blasts. Players swap fighters in and out of the match at any time, even for a single attack on an opponent, while the remaining two characters rest on the sidelines. Gamers can also press one of two assist buttons to have one of their teammates perform a pre-selected attack or defensive maneuver. Online battles are based on the same system used in Super Street Fighter II Turbo: HD Remix, and players can tailor their experience with custom soundtracks and optional visual filters to make the graphics smoother or crisper. ~ Christopher Brown, All Game Guide
