It's goodbye Boardwalk and hello Times Square in this modern-day update to Hasbro's classic real estate board game. Monopoly: Here and Now revises the original properties to include such diverse landmarks as Fenway Park, the Golden Gate Bridge, and the Johnson Space Center. Each property value has been modernized as well, with purchase prices now totaling in the millions. Players begin the game with $2 million in cash and a choice of eight new tokens: McDonald's French fries, Starbucks coffee, a laptop, an airplane, a Toyota Prius, a New Balance sneaker, a labradoodle, and a RAZR cell phone. Railroads have been replaced with real-life airports, including LAX, JFK, and O'Hare. While the look has changed, the rules are still the same: avoid bankruptcy and become the richest landowner in the game through shrewd purchases and timely trades. ~ Scott Alan Marriott, All Game Guide
