Parker Brothers' classic real estate trading game comes to life in the detailed 3D worlds of Monopoly Streets. The video game version follows the tabletop original in rule and in spirit, but illustrates events and changing game circumstances in an explorable, dynamic, city-simulation styled representation of Monopoly board properties. As fortunes rise and fall, so does the condition of the houses and hotels on player-owned real estate. In the Wii version of the game, players can play as their own Mii, and other Mii's on the console will be seen taking up residence around the various Monopoly neighborhoods. Players manage their real estate empires from a virtual headquarters, the appearance of which also changes from destitute to opulent as their wealth grows throughout the game. Streets features several themed boards, including one that re-creates the best-known classic "Number Nine" edition of the board game. In addition to standard rules options, players can set up their own house rules, choosing from an array of variations. ~ T.J. Deci, All Game Guide
