Cyan's landmark graphic adventure title returns to Nintendo DS with this re-release of 2008's handheld version. The game uses the stylus and touch screen instead of the mouse and cursor interactions in the Mac and PC originals, and new DS additions such as a magnifying glass and built-in notepad allow on-the-go players to pore over puzzling texts and jot notes.

In Myst, a cryptic book transports players to a strange island full of weird mechanical contraptions, surreal visions, and complicated, sometimes convoluted, puzzles to solve. Although it's a direct port of the original game, with 2D scenery intact, the DS version of Myst also includes an additional world, the Rime Age, which previously appeared in a 3D revision of the computer game. ~ Scott Alan Marriott, All Game Guide
