Petz: Horsez 2 follows Ginger to her new home in the south of France. Gamers lead Ginger through her life on the ranch as she raises and trains several player-selected horses from foal to prize-winning equine. Each horse has their own personality, and the more in-tune players are with their animals the easier keeping them happy will be. Gamers work through the game by training their animal at the academy and then competing in such activities as dressage, cross, and jumping.
