Description taken from Nintendo Entertainment System version of this game

The first pinball game for NES features a single table with an assortment of targets, lanes, and bumpers. The top and bottom halves of the table appear on separate screens, each containing a set of flippers at the bottom. Hitting the ball into a warp hole will activate a bonus game, which is displayed on its own screen as well. The bonus game has you moving mustachioed mascot Mario left and right as he bounces the ball off a platform held above his head. Gameplay is otherwise identical to traditional pinball, with players trying to score as many points as possible before losing all their balls. Two game types influence the ball's speed and overall difficulty of play. ~ Scott Alan Marriott, All Game Guide
