More than two decades after the initial release of Rush'N Attack, Konami revives its Cold-War themed action platformer with the downloadable title Rush'N Attack Ex-Patriot. Set 15 years after the close of the Cold War, and featuring the same sort of lively backgrounds and "2.5D" perspective as fellow series reboot Bionic Commando Rearmed, Ex-Patriot puts gamers in the shoes of Sergeant Sid Morrow as he heads behind enemy lines to retrieve an abandoned member of an old Soviet weapons program. The game is set in three large, non-linear levels, and players must decide whether they want to use stealth kills and sneak attacks as they skulk about the environments, or if they want to employ heavy force to dispatch hordes of relentless Russian soldiers. Weapons and gear, including knives, grenades, and night-vision goggles, are available for whichever tactic gamers choose, and Ex-Patriot also rewards players for chaining together combo attacks. ~ Christopher Brown, All Game Guide
