London, Calcutta, Paris, Rome, and Moscow are just a few of the destinations you'll visit in Scrabble Journey. The classic tile game has been redesigned with a vacation theme. While the basic rules are the same -- you still use letter tiles to build words -- there is no longer a single board. Each grid-like level resembles a map of a featured city and includes a "finish line," represented by red squares along the screen's edge.
To safely reach the next destination on your international itinerary, you must create enough words so that a letter tile touches a red square. Treasure chests will periodically appear on different squares, offering special bonuses should you land on them. Two game modes include "Quest Mode" and "Quick Play." The former is the adventure modeled after the classic novel, Around the World in 80 Days, while the latter lets you jump to any unlocked stage to improve your score. ~ Scott Alan Marriott, All Game Guide
