Spitfire Heroes is a World War II combat flight sim, designed to provide realistic 3D graphics and forgiving, intuitive controls. The lower screen displays an interactive instrument panel, while the upper screen presents a first-person view of the dogfighting action. Virtual pilots can perform barrel-rolls and other fast-paced maneuvers to position their craft for the killing shot. A number of missions are available, including escort assignments and bombing runs, in addition to the in-air plane-to-plane combat. Players can earn medals and achieve promotions in rank by successfully completing missions.
