Nickelodeon's computer animated boy genius has accidentally trapped himself in a new dimension after tinkering with his latest invention -- and has switched places with a doppelganger named Jimmy Negatron. Now his evil counterpart from a parallel world is running rampant in Retroville. Players must help Jimmy Neutron escape from this alternate universe to return home and save his friends and town from untold disasters.

Played from an angled overhead perspective, the game consists of 11 levels of laser-blasting action. Neutron will be able to use inventions to help him overcome his situation, including a shrink ray, a robot-disassembling ray, a dimension jump ray, the rocket ship, and his friend Goddard.
