The Cartoon Network's pint-sized heroines are in world of trouble when they accidentally disrupt the delicate space-time continuum in the fair city of Townsville. Now the trio must use their special powers while flying through three separate time periods on their way back to the present. The 3D representation of Townsville changes with each era and features a different boss character in control. Players will contend with Boogie Man's disco world, Mojo Jojo's jungle town, and HIM's inferno.

Each character fights enemies using a targeting system, allowing for pinpoint control when firing laser beams and unleashing other forms of attacks. Additional enemies from the animated series include Sedusa, Princess, and more as players rush to save Townsville's citizens, solve puzzles, and locate the missing time machine parts needed to return the Powerpuff Girls (and Townsville) to the present.
