The father of the Four Monarchs from Total Annihilation: Kingdoms surfaces in the expansion pack, Total Annihilation: Kingdoms -- The Iron Plague. The legacy of Garacaius, long-lost Mage Emperor of Darien, is discovered in the North Country land of Creon, a civilization that eschews magic for science and reason. Mana, although still used, is channeled for use as a natural resource, not in the arcane arts.
The Creonites detest the idea of magic used as the basis for any civilization and intend to eliminate its use and destroy the land of Darien and the Four Monarchs. To help them in the endeavor, the Ghost of Garacaius is conjured by the Chief Engineer to use logic and science in their quest.
Total Annihilation: Kingdoms -- The Iron Plague contains 25 new units for the fifth faction, the Creonites, 25 new maps and detailed 3D environments as well as a separate module for online play, the Darien Crusades, playable at the Cavedog online site Boneyards. In multiplayer action, you choose to join either the Order of Honor or the Council of Terror as a Crusading Lord.
The expansion pack requires full installation of the real-time strategy game Total Annihilation: Kingdoms. ~ Michael L. House, All Game Guide
