With overtones of The Sims, Tropico, and other "Tycoon" games comes Virtual Resort: Spring Break by Deep Red Games, developers of Monopoly Tycoon. Resort management, social interaction, and business skills take center stage on a dozen unique vacation islands as you manage hotels, restaurants, nightclubs, entertainment, cruises, security, construction, safety issues, guests, and much more. Handle a variety of potential disasters like food poisoning, drunken brawls, and shark attacks while keeping guests happy, fulfilled, and satiated.

Spring Break features task-based gameplay with twelve scenarios unlocked sequentially upon completion of pre-set objectives. Unlocked buildings and islands can be used in Sandbox Mode to create a resort without any objective restrictions. Resort infrastructure is managed from an isometric perspective with the use of mini-maps, menus, icons, information panels, and "guest" feedback. Hire and manage staff (shift schedules, wages, jobs), monitor finances and inventory, and control more than 50 structures and related functions, from supplying first aid to fixing toilets. Use the built-in MP3 player to listen to the game's daytime and evening soundtracks or your own tunes. ~ Michael L. House, All Game Guide
